About The Shotover Barn
The Shotover Barn is a group accommodation property in Lower Shotover, about ten minutes from Queenstown. The main house is a handcrafted barn-style building of 300 square metres with six ensuite bedrooms for up to 13 guests, an open-plan kitchen and living area, a private spa pool and mountain views.
Custom woodwork and concrete benchtops use reclaimed native timber, and the design is inspired by the heritage barns of Central Otago. A smaller self-contained suite, The Little Shotover, sleeps four and sits on the same property.
Hosts Rory and Mary run the place, and the design is described as handcrafted with heart. The airport is eight minutes away, and Millbrook, Ayrburn and Stoneridge Estate are between 10 and 16 minutes away.
