About Giverny Wedding Venue & Sculpture Garden
Giverny Estate is a private wedding venue and sculpture garden in Lower Shotover, a few minutes from Queenstown and Arrowtown. The five-acre grounds hold eight outdoor sculptures, mature trees and ponds with water lilies.
Couples hold ceremonies and receptions here, walking the aisle across a pond bridge, down schist steps or into a sunlit barn, with views to Coronet Peak and the surrounding mountains. The Shotover River is almost at the door and Lake Hayes is a four-minute drive away.
Guests can stay on the property in a four-bedroom, three-bathroom house with two living rooms, a fireplace, a brazier, a tennis court and an outdoor barbecue area. The estate also offers wedding cars, including a Rolls-Royce Ghost, a 1957 Daimler Conquest Century and a Mercedes 420 SL, with a driver.
