Why this directory exists
Planning a wedding around Queenstown often happens from far away, and venue details sit on dozens of separate websites, each set out a different way. Many of the best-known places are lodges, wineries and stations that do not call themselves wedding venues at all. We built Queenstown Wedding Venues to put every reviewed venue from Glenorchy and Wānaka to Gibbston and Cromwell on one map, grouped by area, with the facts couples ask about first.
For each venue we read its own website and record what it says about ceremonies, receptions, elopements, accommodation, views, wet-weather options and access. When a website does not say, we show that there is no information yet rather than guess. Ratings and review counts appear side by side, so a high score from a handful of reviews is easy to spot.
Listings are free. Venues can pay for a featured spot, and every paid position is marked as paid. Owners can claim their listing at no cost to correct details or add their own photos. If something on the guide is wrong, tell us and we will fix it.
How listings are vetted
Listings are free. Paid positions are always marked as paid, and they never change a venue's rating or the features shown.
Right now that is 149 wedding venues in 7 Queenstown areas and towns, last refreshed 19 October 2026.
Owners can claim their listing for free. Every claim is checked by a person: a real local business, a matching email domain or a call to the number on the Google listing. Paid placements are marked as featured, premium or best-of wherever they appear.
Corrections and removals
If a listing is wrong, or you want your business removed, tell us. We answer within a week and rebuild the directory with the change.
