About Tannacrieff Port Wines - open by appointment only
Tannacrieff Wines is an owner-operated port winery in Bannockburn, Cromwell, making handcrafted Ruby, White and Tawny ports from Central Otago grapes. Debra Cruickshank founded it and named it after her great-grandmother's family farm in Ayrshire, Scotland.
The Hunter's Collection and White Heron are among its labels, and the shop sells bundles, gift boxes, pourers and gift cards online. Visits are by appointment only.
Debra won the 2017 NZ Supreme Rural Woman and Entrepreneurial Rural Woman of the Year awards, and she began in viticulture at Akarua at the age of 22. Rated 5.0 from 29 Google reviews, every one of them five stars.
