The Bathhouse is a Queenstown lakefront landmark built in classic Edwardian style in 1911 to celebrate the coronation of King George V, one year before the TSS Earnslaw. Today it runs as a tapas bar and restaurant on Queenstown Bay, with locally grown, foraged and farmed produce and a wine list of local, French and international bottles, set against Lake Wakatipu.
It has a wedding and family celebration offering and takes conference and event bookings, and the team will transform the space to suit each event. It has sister restaurants including Aosta, Little Aosta, Ahi and Origine.
Edwardian style and a lakefront setting give the building a regal British feel. Guests can also buy gift vouchers, make reservations and browse a gallery and testimonials.
